AIP Plantain Flat Bread


 This flat bread is definitely a family favorite! It's super easy to whip up in a high powered blender, and goes great with a crock pot stew or your favorite soup! 

AIP Plantain Flat Bread:
Ingredients:
3 yellow plantains
1/4 cup olive oil or avocado oil
1/4 cup water
1/4 tsp. sea salt

Directions:
Before you begin line two cookie sheets with parchment paper.
Put all ingredients in blender.
Blend until smooth. (resembles very thick waffle batter)
Pour Batter in equal parts onto the cookie sheets and spread out into a thin layer with a spoon or spatula.
After spread out, lightly sprinkle course sea salt on top batter
Bake in oven at 400 degrees for 25 minutes, or until the top has a golden brown color.
Switch baking sheets between racks in the oven half way through baking.
Use a pizza slicer to cut into pieces.
Best served fresh and warm, straight out of the oven.
